I was thinking the same thing the whole time I was reading this thread. It's too bad we tend to separate math and creativity as if they are polar opposites. I think it's because of the way we're taught in educational systems. There really is no such thing as "illogic" because logic (math) always exists in everything -even in "chaos." I think a true artist will be "good at math" -even if he/she cannot explain mathematical concepts/equations to someone else. I'm a musician and poet/lyricist, an artist, yet many of my dreams are mathematically oriented (usually in regards to music and geometric shapes, images, etc.) I'm learning that I do not (or at least should not :D ) hate math as I'v thought in the past, since math and art are integrated and intertwined.
