So why do you LD?
If other please list.
It could also be more than one but pick the one that applies best.
For me I think Exploring the Subconscious would fit the best.

For plain fun, exploring my subconscious (and memory and stuff), and to get and test ideas for creative things (like making games).
I put down to explore my subconscious. But I also do it for fun, because exploring my subconscious is fun. lol, you know what I mean. I really do it for the feeling of a Lucid Dream. It feels like how the word should really feel. Everything is connected to you and you sense a presence, a control and feeling over absolutely everything. Its like being everywhere and everything, and myself at the same time. It’s very free-ing.
Oh yeah... It feels so much more invigorating than real life in a real lucid moment... haven't had many.Quote:

MY subconscious has many more things to enlighten me on. I can't waite ! :D
Pretty much, I just do it naturally. It isn't a matter of why I LD....it is a matter of what I want to do in it...
Oh, & ALostSoul is kind of the same way.
1. consciousness expansion
2. for entertainment
3. when i become more proficient, i will explore spiritual possibilities, shared dreams, lucid dreaming as a means of healing others, etc.
I choose "To Explore the Subconscious." The sleep state really fascinates me. I have even created a web site of my concepts and theories.
I hope to model my perspective on waking life by "exploring my subconscious." I believe that is the reason for why dreams exist, or even why we are able to take control of them--for self-fulfilment. The overall benefit is to improve your mind, health, body, to live to its greatest potential while enjoying every day.
Some religious reasons too, but I won’t get into that here.
D
Just for kicks.
When I get more skilled in LD I think I'll use it as a source of inspiration for my artwork.
I LD out of curiosity. That and I have needs that the Waking world cannot fulfill.
I've always dreamed lucid. Even when I was very young.
I enjoy the lack of boundries, it's the only place I feel like
I can really unleash my brain.
