Writing on my hands
I am pretty new to this computer lark. This morning I got up and wrote a few numbers I needed to remember on the back of my hand. In it's self, is nothing out of the ordinary for me as I am always scrawling something on myself. People say this is bad for me and think I'm stupid but it works well so I don't care.
The point is, I think the fact that I write on myself so often is related to the dreams that I had when I was younger.Strange dreams about art, painting and scribbling on my school folders mainly. Does anyone think this could be possible and am I the only person in the world that thinks writing on the hand is ok. Please tell me that someone else does this too?

yeah i write on my self all the time, once i tried using permanent marker to write the initialls of reality check on my hand to remind me to do those, but i spelled it wrong and forgot what it meant

I used to write myself notes on the back of my hand
all the time. I don't anymore, I've graduated to little sticky notes.

Whatever I write on my left arm I remember for almost eternety. Sometimes what I have written shows up in my dreams.

I went to a palm reader once, and I wrote something on my hand, to see if she would read that too.
errrr, I dont write stuff on my hands anymore, I stopped once I got into HS

heh
You are definitly not the only person in the world that writes notes and stuff on bodily parts.
Me, and everyone at my school does, and anyone i've known.

You can buy a non-toxic marker for kids at the Drug Store or Dollar Store and write to your harts content.

This sort of sounds like a good way to RC. You could write something on your hand or something and then check it in your dream to see if it is still there or says something different. It probably won't work if it is just one word though. Maybe a huge complex sentence...

Offtopic to dreams,
I write on my hand all the time.
I'm a very busy person,
And I keep things in lign by writing. :)
Related to dreams,
It would be good if you wrote
"I am in a dream. Do a reality check. "
And every random moment check your hand. Do some reality checks.
Hopefully in your dream you will keep up the habit. :)

Yeah i think lots of people do. I also wrote lots of notes on my hand when i was little but because it is a little weird to walk arround with text on your hand all and offcourse hard to wash off i quit doing it. Now u end up feeling sorry for that because it could be a good reality check if u dream about it.

i wrote numbers on my hand and it worked pretty well as a reality check, in fact its most likly the most successful reality check i have ever done.

I am always writing notes on my hand. It makes me a little self concious these days, so I write on my wrist more often than the back of my hand now.
It's a secret, but I also sometimes write things on my stomach. Not important things, just things I might find funny later, or how I'm feeling at the time.
Someone I knew once cheated on an exam by writing the whole of the Welsh paragraph she needed to remember on her right leg.
Interesting thing; in a LD last week, I decided to write "dreamviws" on my hand to remind me to post about the dream when I woke up (yes, that was dumb logic), and when I looked at my hand I found it already written there!

I only write on my hands when I don't have anything better handy, or when I need to be spontaneously reminded of something while I'm out somewhere. Still, I have for a long time, and don't plan on stopping anytime soon.

Whenever I need to remember something I write it on my hand. Currently, it says:

Corina's email address.
When I get home I pull out my sticky note pad and transfer the important ones, then stick 'em to the bottom of my monitor. Always helps me remember stuff!
