Has anybody read the book Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming by Stephen Laberge? this is a facanating book on lucid dreaming and the techniques involved. I know this book has come up on numerous occasions in the chat room and on my post. I was just wondering if anybody else has read this book and what their reviews on it are.

Yes. It has indeed been brought up many times. IN fact you may see it as ETOLD FYI. Just in case you do not know what that meant.
I believe as many others do as well that it is the best LDing book out there.

My friend got me interested lucid dreaming like a week ago, and gave me this book. I read the whole thing in 1 day. I found it to be pretty interesting and worth reading. I read the book first and then I stumbled upon this website as I researched the internet. The book explains everything I found on this website, and goes into much greater depth about the different and more obscure methods of LD induction. It doesn't talk much about RCs, but then again I suppose there isn't too much you can say about RCs (other than that you need to get in the habit of doing them). The book has neat "exercises" for you to do that will help dream recall, memory, critical state checking, etc. The book spends the first 150-200 pages or so discussing what lucid dreaming is, and how to do it. The last third of the book talks mainly about practical applications of LDing, and some people's experiences with it. The book has many first person accounts of LDs (I guess people send in their experiences to him).
I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in the topic, even though most of the information in the book can be found on the DV website for free.

This is for sure a book all people that are interested lucid dreaming should have!
The Forum is great because you are able to get opinions and feedback from real people rather than a book. Bringing about many new and interesting questions.
I have read EWOLD (yet another abreviation) and like it. I was able to find in on the internet and download it onto my Palm. Probably illegal. But I first found it at the library years ago and read it then. It has LOTS of good information.
this book is the bible of LD"ing as far as i'm concerned. i had my first lucid within a few days of starting it.
however, i only skimmed the last third of it, as it didn't have much to offer me personally.
i lent it to my buddy, and last i heard he already had 1 lucid, which was awesome. gotta love introducing someone else to LD'ing :D and another friend is waiting in line to borrow it after him.
i'm hoping to convert as many of my friends as possible with 'the good book', hehe.
