      Having Sex in your Dream?

I keep having sex in my dreams, but in reality im not. In my dream i can think of anyone whom i wish to make out with and have all my fantasies fullfilled. and they are wild.you think it , i done it in my dream. with celebrities, old flames and close friends. i am totaly a different person in my sleep. then when i wake im wet, horney looking for the fantasiy in my dream to be fullfilled. but when i come to reality i have no one in mind. and not interested in having intercourse, due to other reasons. Have you had any of the sane experiences?

Well thats definitely nothing to be concerned about...i used to be different in my dreams kinda, i would sometimes dislike some of my best friends. But its normal, its just your mind releasing some of your subconcious feelings.

Alex: It sounds like the dreams are lucid because she is able to pick and choose.

Blknsexigyrl: Yeah, a whole lot of people choose to have sex when they are lucid. Obviously guys do, I'm not sure how often women do. I do too, but it's usually something I don't exactly intend to do until I see a pretty person and realize I'm dreaming.

As far as using dreaming to satisfy one's self, I do that too. Physically, I have a person in mind, but I would still tell her "Not yet".

I guess its just a primitve action.
I remember becoming lucid and despretley searching around for girls until i found one and began humping her leg lol it sounds really funny now i think back on it
Our dreams are firsthand creations, rather than residues of waking life. We have the capacity for infinite creativity.

I am completely different in my dreams when it comes to sex.. In my dreams I have sex all the time..with different people.. but in reality I don't have sex at all..I don't have a boyfriend..and won't sleep with just anybody. I think the dreams are just my way of working out my sexual frustrations..

i actually just had dream sex for the first time last night (while lucid that is). it was quite a strange experience, as i am a virgin (and not the least bit ashamed to say so ). it lasted a few minutes, although i did not climax before i awoke. i certainly awoke hot and bothered, and finished the job it will be interesting to compare the sensations to future experiences in waking life, to see how accurately my mind portrayed certain sounds and sensations.

the fact i was drinking the night before probably had some bearing on the dream. i never consciously plan to seek out sex while dreaming. if i wanted frivilous sex, i could just call up any number of people who have offered over the years..or obtain a prostitute for an hour.

My first controlled lucid dream (Thanks Asher! ), I wanted to find someone,
but all I kept seeing were family members.

And I would feel really guilty..

So I ended up wasting my dream time walking around.

The only time I started dreaming about sex was the time my boyfriend started toying around with me in my sleep.

I might've dreamt about sex other times, but not remembered. Might be something to try out when lucid, but I might wake up out of excitement.

There was an old TV commercial that used the expression Everything Goes Better With A Coke. It may soon be a popular saying Everything Goes Better With A Dream. Think?

I'll be a man and admit it, I do dream about sex its usually not LD though, it happens when I see it somewhere like subliminal advertisements during the day and I let my mind take its own shape. P.S. I am a virgin by choice not by default (defaults are the ones who dont get offered any )

In my more recent lucid dreams, as soon as I go lucid my subconscious takes over and says "Hey, I'm dreaming. Lets go find a girl!" So far, this has resulted in waking me up every time. I won't deny that lucid sex is fun when it doesn't wake you up immediately, but it gets annoying when it gets in the way of other things that I'd like to try out. I guess next time I go lucid, I'll just have to put my foot down and say "I've got better things to do than the first hot girl I find."
Well life is short, so love the one ya' got, 'cause you might get run over or you might get shot.

Well said, Batman. Too many people waste their lucidity on sex in Dreaming, IMO. Total waste of energy, which in itself can be dangerous also.

I'll give you a case history, and you can make of it what you will.

A woman learnt lucid dreaming, and once she was adept enough, she started to use it for having sex with whoever/whatever turned up. This went on for years, and she was quite happy to let it do so. Everytime she got lucid, "someone" would immediately turn up, and she would proceed to have sex with them.

However, one day she had the thought (just like Scruffy wrote) that she would quite like to try some of the other things she had read about in LD. However, the next time she got lucid, "someone" turned straight up and started to touch her in a preamble to sex. She resisted, and the dream session turned into a nightmarish scene of rape and degradation, the like of which she could never imagined: literally, her worst nightmare. Her dreaming turned into interminable torture, and every time she dreamt the same thing happened. It was as if her "sexual contacts" would not take no for an answer, and her life started to collapse into mental disorder. Hardly surprising, considering the stress she was under everytime she fell asleep. There was no respite for her until she voluntarily checked herself in to a Mental Hospital, and was put onto a regime of heavy medication, which stopped her dreaming.

I've posted this story before, and was subjected to disdain and abuse by some of the so-called "dreamers" here. All I will say to them is, when you've got 30 years LD experience behind you, you will not think LD is a safe occupation, a safe "hobby". (Good God!) I know three other long-term dreamers and we all unfailingly agree that LD is extremely dangerous, is NOT a toy, and should not even be attempted by most of the people here. They do not know what they are doing and treat it as some sort of joke. They've been at it for a very short while and think they've got it all sussed.

      I beg to differ.

      Be careful out there.

Whether or not we should be experiencing lucid dreams, and whether or not it's dangerous isn't really for you to decide.

Point 1: Even if it is dangerous, we all exert the right to go through with it.

Point 2: It's not as simple to glance at someone and immediately judge whether they're experienced enough to do ANYTHING for that matter.

Point 3: It's fine to generalise, but you don't know shit about "half" of the people on these forums. Until you give a few examples and explanations, your argument does not count.

Point 4: Goddamn fucking shit. You're another one of those "years = wisdom" minded people as far as I can tell. Just because one has done something for an extended period of time does NOT mean that you automatically are more knowledgable on that subject.

Lucid dreams can be dangerous. Usually they are perfectly natural, and some people, as I do, have them from an early age. The people using these forums are constantly learning new things about dreams and improving themselves in that topic. They learn what can be potentially dangerous. They learn how to act in situations.

Obviously, like with everything, bad things happen. However you are contradicting yourself, as this is a community that strides to help people learn how to lucid dream AND do it safely.

Well, it's just like it you are somehow physically hurt, you dream about it. Like once I scraped my hand on the wall and dreamt my hand got stabbed.

      Same theory really.

course if you don't mind it, then no biggie

it just alarmed me when I read it, mainly because you appear so young

Well, we have a long standing relationship and sex wasn't something new to me at the time. He just thought it would be a nice awakening, however it took a while for me to awaken as I sleep deeply.

And goddamnit I was just indirectly called immature. ¬_¬

      Thanks.

No, Chainsaw Kitten is right. Different people learn a vastly differing speeds in different subjects and experiences, and that includes lucid dreaming, thus, years != knowledge.
