Pupils Dialating?

Im sure everyone knows how your eyes dialate depending on the amount of light in the room right...?

Well do your eyes Dialate when your dreaming according to the amount of light that you see in your dream?Like for instance, if in your dream you were outside on a bright sunny day, would your pupils in real life be real small because of the light you see in your dream?

And while im thinking about it, has anyone tried to look at peoples eyes in your dreams and see if the DC's pupils have dialated according to the light?

Light is light no matter how you see it, in my opinion the body turns to a light even in sleep. Whether we like it or not the body turns to light in sleep. We tend to wake up because it is more light then we like. I think the amount of light we see in dreams depends on how we move in our sleep. Even in a dark room with an alarm clock the mind moves to the light of the alarm clock. I'm no expert and are welcome to challege.

I think you have dream body with dream eyes and they may dialate.

Ok, but do you know if while your dreaming, your Pupils will Dialate in RL according to how much light you see in your dream...?

Had a few dreams looking in the mirror and noticed how BIG my pupils were, I look really friendly like that. Not that I'm not naturally, of course!

No, I don't think dream-light would affect your real-life body. Now, I've never actually looked, but I would guess not. Pupil dilation is a physical response, not a mental one.

Sexual thoughts dilate your eyes. And the wider your pupils, the more attractive you appear and the more people are magnetically transfixed by your gaze. Thusly, when looking at people, run naughty images of them in your head. A strong libido will help here.

I think it was Roosevelt who could dilate his eyes at will; I wonder how he managed to do that when looking over a listening audience, eh, eh? :lol:

How do these (admittedly) fascinating facts apply to this thread you off-topic bastard, I hear? Well if you can dilate your eyes simply from the mind, they probably DO dilate when lucid dreaming. :)

If you do a pupillary reflex test on a sleeping person, their pupils will still dilate and shrink according to the light. Only neurological problems will cause the pupils not to react to light stimuli - even when asleep or dreaming. Just think of an unconscious person, medics still check pupillary eye reflexes to check for neurological depression or damage.
