i only dream on thursday nights

Hey! im new to the forums and this is the first topic i am posting. I have been attempting and experiencing lucid dreaming for about a half year. I have had about 7 lucid dreams, but only 2-3 of them were actually good. Bur i have realized two things that i do not get:

      1. In the past 4 weeks, i have ld' d or have had extremely vivid dreams on thursday nights. I do not know why because thursday night is like any other night in the week. All the other days of the week carry either normal, bland dreams, with very foggy recolection.
How do you think i can help myself dream every other night normally?

      2. When I DO Ld, I have very brief experiences, and even when i wake up, sometimes i don't even feel like i had a very significant dream. I know this question had probably been asked many times, but how do you make an Ld last long than 2 minutes or not forget that i am in an ld?

I am glad that i can share these questions with you guys, and i am very interested in pursuing a better dreaming lifestyle

Hey there and welcome to the forum!!
      1) Are Thursdays at all less stressful for you? If so, that could be the explanation. If you want to try it everynight, try to relax along with it, and keeping a DJ will also help.
      2) Just remember the whole time you are dreaming, & perform more Reality Checks if necessary. Also, making it last longer requires a bit more dream control, but it is highly possible.

That is awesome that you are going to try to pursue a better dreaming life style. Keep up that attitude, & you'll be a pro in no time!!
And if you have any more questions, feel free to ask!!

Thank you for that advice. Lately i have been reality cheking more and more and i feel more confident than before. And also on thursdays i guess i am less stressed, but usually on the weekends i feel less stressed. I''m very confident i will be able to Ld with more control and a lot better soon

Maybe you should try to have LDs more aimed at the weekends for the time being, since that is when you are less stressed.

      dude,
like it says in Exploring The World Of Lucid Dreaming or whatever, its what you think that happens. If you think you will only have vivid dreams on thursdays then thats what will happen. my suggestion is just to think positive and know you will have dreams at other times.
