      Ambient Music Radiostation 24/7

For everyone interested in some calm music while they go to bed, WBTB, or whatever.

This is the same radio - just different hosts.

Use winamp and use CTRL-L (default) to paste in one of the url above.

I also recommend this plug-in which you can configurate when the music is supposed to play, how long it's suppose to play, etc.

That is an excellent idea--unfortunately for me I live in a house with 8 other people and we all share one DSL connection, so streaming anything works close to 0% of the time. Do you have any suggestions in terms of specific artists, albums, etc? I have some ambient stuff already (Christian renou, robert rich, air), but not nearly enough.

      some artists...

I'm very into downtempo ambient type stuff.. if you don't mind some beats. Check out "the album leaf", "Dntel", and also MAKE SURE to check out http://www.somafm.com It is one of the best radio sites on the internet in my opinion.. i've been a listener and supporter for damn near 3-4 years now. it's good stuff. If you're into some stuff with lyrics.. I highly suggest you check out Sigur Ros (iceland) and Mum (iceland). There's also groups like "boards of canada" and whatnot.. if you're into the whole "IDM" scene. anyway...thats enough for me. dream on!

If you want a good trance music station, check out trancedb.com or tranceradio.net (com?) di.fm streams with 96 kbps, these are 192 kbps (around that 90ish area). But then again, these two are psychedellic/goa trance, so if you're into the more vocal/epic stuff di.fm is a better option. Di.fm also streams some good ambient, though a lot of it is Pete Namlook stuff, which can be really great to get lost to
