Random dream memories in my brain
Ever since my dream recall has been getting better and better, during the day, I keep getting these random memories of past dreams popping into my head at any given moment.
Now, it's not like the train of though I was on leads me to these memories, for example:
Ooh, that guy has a banana!
- - - - - - - - - - - - ->
Monkeys eat bananas.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - >
Hey, last night I had a dream that a monkey was trying to kill me in an underwater battle.
NOTHING like that.
Just out of nowhere, these memories (most of the time I'm pretty sure they are dreams) jump into my conciousness.
Does anyone else have this happen to them at all, or am I just semi-retarded?
It doesn't really bother me, it's just kinda wierd. :?
I was thinking maybe a smell or another sense was reminding me of these dreams, but it happens way too often for me to believe that.
Just thought I would post this and see what people thought.......... :)
Yodle.
Re: Random dream memories in my brain
I understand what you mean. Sometimes if I have trouble writing in my physical journal when I awaken, I'll find myself starting to remember random elements a few minutes later which link to other thoughts (and so on) until I have more or less a complete recollection of what went on in my dream--even if it occurs hours later when some random stimuli jogs my memory.
