Whats am I missing?
I have been able to lucid for awhile now, I actually was lucid dreaming before I even knew there was such a thing, I figured this was a natural occurance that everyone had.
Everytime I lucid dream I do the common thing's one would do such as flying, jumping extremely high, breathing underwater, sex, etc...
What i'm wondering is, what am I missing? I know there has to be more to lucid dreaming than this. I feel that this is a very important tool and that i'm just making nothing but a jungle gym to play on.
If anyone know's what i'm saying or can help me out I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks!

Welcome, Mr. Hippo! :D
I know that you are going to get some responses from those who believe that you should be using your lucid dreaming to better yourself in some way -- and I think that's fine, if you can find a way to do it that actually does help you in some way rather than deluding yourself into believing in things that aren't real. But my opinion is that it's just a great way to have fun, experience things that you can't in real life (like flying), and let off steam. Nothing at all wrong with that, IMHO. It's certainly better than doing nothing while you're sleeping, or worse yet, having nightmares.

well, my problem is that i have so many things i want to try, but i can't gain lucidity often enough to try them all out :? :(
if you feel there is something missing, i think it is because deep down inside you there is a creativity or curiousity lying dormant, waiting to be let out. It isn't anything outside of yourself that is missing in your lucid dreams (how could it be? your LD's are created SOLEY from your mind). It is some aspect of your consciousness that you are ready to manifest.
sort of like magma inside the recesses of a volcano, building up more and more pressure, getting closer and closer to release. perhaps that growing pressure is what you are feeling.
you must find that out yourself...good luck :)
