Starting to get scarded to write down dreams

See topic. One night, the 3rd of February to be exact, I decided to try setting my alarm clock earlier to try and remember more dreams, I woke up and remembered the SCAARIEST dream, I was soooooooooo terrified that I didn't write it down, then when I woke up in the morning I remembered another dream, this one I wrote down, the next night I had another scary dream and didn't write it down, I sort of remember fragments of the dreams and they arn't all that scary, but at the time it seamed like it because it felt like I was just in it! WHat do I do?!

Get a grip :P. No, seriously, writing it down will help you understand why you had it in the first place, and will make you familiar with the dream. Hopefully then if you ever have a similar dream again, you can take control and defeat it.

Yep, I agree with what Identity X said. Also, keep reminding yourself that no matter how scary they may seem, nothing in your dreams can harm you in real life. The only harm they can possibly do is cause stress due to being frightened. But if you can train yourself not to fear your dreams, then you will eliminate that stress.

Yeah, you said it best.

I agree with the advice. A frightening dream may be used as a tool to gain lucidity. Visualize yourself in a scary situation and then visualize realizing that you are dreaming. Use it as a dream cue to trigger lucidity,.

It could also be that your subconscious is trying to tell you something. Perhaps you should try and get this dream recorded and posted in the Dream Interpretation section. Perhaps another or I could assist you in dissecting this nightmare.
