      WILD + REM

Does doing a WILD force your brain into REM? I know the highest success is after a few hours of sleep so that you have the shortest time between waking and REM, but I've heard it's possible to do a WILD at any time...But there is no waiting around in stages 1-4 (unless this occurs during hypnagogia?), because sleep paralysis only happens during REM sleep...Right? Is this a way to skip all other stages of sleep and go directly to REM every time?

I don't think it's possible unless you modify your sleep schedule drastically to only have REM sleep.
