Well I think that's more a case of ''mental powah''.
(Not in the form of magic or anything else, but simply, your mental will).
I for example, have an immense imagination, and an immensely powerful mental will.
I can also call upon a daydream on command (just by thinking about wanting to have it, not by shouting out commands and words lol)
Just work on your imagination for a bit, If you are on the brink of psychosis (or whatever the freak disease is called) it might be a lot lot easier for you :P
LoL okay...I don't think i have to work on my imagination its very wild. Sometimes I have a bath with bubbles and i get completely taken in that i am the creator of this whole world and i see all these little people looking around and wandering the streets. I also see the country borders lol. MADEUPISTAN AND HECOMBAKISTAN. Sorry country names you can make lol.
I would consider that being a mental illness instead of a wild imagination........ lol j/k
Meh, then you'll just have to learn (or get a habit) of summoning up hallucinations during the day. It will help (at least in my case it did, however I didn't use it as a treatment or technique, I always did it for fun)
LoL. Yeah right now there is an elf sitting on my monitor lol. His name is Locomostan! lol J/k
Is it just me or aren't daydreams just simple little distracions? Am I thinking of something else? Or are you talking about intense daydream visions?
I think of daydreams as more of distractions, Enigma. Sometimes one can become very involved in them, though.
As a writer of fiction, I think it's almost a prerequisite to be able to daydream at will.
I guess so... What I like is being involved in some serious hypnogogic imagery, it's just really fun to me. It's like being asleep, but not really. I guess I like daydreaming, I just don't have much time to do it. So yes, I can daydream at will, are there people who can't?
Daydreams pull me throught the days, sometimes. I use them as a form of relaxation. I can induce them whenever and wherever.
so are daydreams not just visualizations of imagination? What could be so difficult about visualizing something?
