      Born with LD ability.

I told my dad about this site and i told him what Lucid dreaming was and he told me he was born with the ability. Is there anyone else here who knows someone who was born with it?

Many people are born with the ability to Lucid Dream. I didnt know people could Lucid Dream normaly until i was in my second year of high school. Usually though, their Lucid Dreams arent as powerful or as lucid from the ones where you practice and work at.

I've also been having LDs ever since I can remember (WAY before I even knew what a lucid dream was).

But I got better practicing techniques and keeping my dream journal. Just like with anything, practicing will improve your ability.

I used to be able to wake myself up if I could sense something scary was about to happen. I still can, but I find it more difficult to realize I'm dreaming now.

I have a friend who has very high level lucid dreams without any practice at all. When i talked to him about lucid dreaming and told him that it could be fun to try flying in a dream he looked at me ,laughed, and asked me if it could be true that i never had tried to fly my dreams, and that he did that alot. When he tells me about his dreams, it seems to me that he very rarely have non-lucid dreams.
