I realized on my drive to work this morning. In my last five or six lucid dreams, I was the only person present.
Kind of strange. Anyone else ever have this happen?
It's OK though, plenty of stuff to do, but I would like some company some night!

In the past three uber short WILD induced LDs I have had there was no one else, except one character one time.. but that is because I summoned the character willingly
I had this one LD where I was in a store with lots of people. I was trying to get to the other side but I couldn't with all of the people moving around. So I made them all stop. Everyone but me stopped moving and I just walked on by. I've never been able to do that since.
Hey that was cool! Nice Avi!
There are almost never people in my LD's an I really want to talk to some, see what happens. The one time I did find a DC close to hand, I completly forgot to talk to them and completly ignored them. I can summon people quite easily but they never seem very talkative. It's annoying because in ND's I've had dreams packed with people, all talking and acting perfectly naturally.
Usually the dream does have people until i become lucid...then everyone just leaves or somethin.
In my one lucid dream there were people all around (walking their dogs, watering flowers in their yards, strolling through the park). I'd have to have more to be able to have any real idea if thats the norm though.
Wow, spooky seeker. In my lucid dream, only my immediate family was there.Wtf is up with that? :?
That is the exact same thing that happens to me 99% of the time. It sucks. There is no opprotunity to interact with anyone. :cry:Quote:

STUPID THEORY TIME!
Right, we all know the mind has to reach a limit eventually...
While you're dreaming and not conscious, the mind has just enough "power" to emulate lots of people. But when you become conscious, you need more power to stay conscious, and therefore the mind has to stop emulating people because the power is being used by being conscious in your dream...
If you get what I mean.
Ya that makes sense. But how do paeple gain more (power)in their dreams?
Whenever I try to emulate anything, all I become is frustrated. Which usuallly leads to my awakening.
Ive been lucid in cities with LOTS of people and I have been alone floating in the dark of the void of space.. its lonely, heh, I am starting to think I like it.
Just had a image of pulling an hour glass from my pocket and setting it on my head!Quote:

Seri, did you observe them? Did they all act independently even when you we'rent concerned with them, or did they all seem to act doing the genreally same thing (ie: just walking away looking busy)
Seeker, why? :P
There's usually an abundance of people in my normal and LD dreams. The funny thing about the LD characters is that they pretty much do whatever I do. For instance if Im flying through the air then everyones doing it. Like its normal or something.
