Two scary dreams in one night

I had two scary dreams last night, I wouldn't call them nightmares though since it was only parts of it that was scary. They where both about the same thing too.

First dream I got lost walking around this big house. I liked lived in the house with a bunch of other people, but I went up into this one area where no one ever goes. I couldn't find anything and it was really spooky but I found my way out. Except I came out way on the other side of the house, and I was on the first floor even though when I got lost I was on second floor and I didn't go down any steps and I ran into someone and I was like "how did I get way over here?" I told the other people what happened and they thought I was crazy or something.

One of them went with me back to the place I got lost though and this time the same place went some where else. We started going up some steps and I got a really bad feeling for some reason, and I was really scared of going up the steps so I started saying we should leave. The person I was with was like frozen though and wouldn't say anything so I got even more scared. So I just stood there, and I was like starting to freak out but I didn't want to leave my friend. Turns out there was like a ghost there but it was kind of a good one though and rest of the dream wasn't so bad.

Then I had another dream later, took place in the same house. I went back to the same area again. This time I went down some steps. I went down something like 4 or 5 floors, they where really long. Then I kept getting cobwebs all over me, atleast I was hoping there was no spiders there heh. I started getting really scared the farther down I went. I kept going untill I got to the point where there was so many webs I couldn't go any farther because it was like a wall. At that point I was really worried, so I turned around. After I went back up a few steps I woke up though, not really because I was scared though just woke up.

Wow Alric! Thats a classic tale of your subcounsious playing the old mind games with ya. Usually if you awaken from one dream for a brief period of time and you're still concentrating on that dream which I know you were, then once you fall back to sleep you will find yourself right back where you left off. You can use this to your advantage to engage in Lucidity. Just try and think before you drift off that Its all a dream and you may be lucky enough to remember that the last time you were at that place you were dreaming. Try it out next time.

wow i was reading your post and i kinda fell asleep. (i think, pink floyd dark side of the moon on a continuous loop helped a little) ... well long story short i had a dream about this house. :shock: crazy. i was getting the old victorian vibe while reading, so that's what popped up. it was dark and windy outside. and i didn't want to leave. there were a bunch of people in the house and i was getting the idea that i was on some sort of reality tv show. this disgusted me, but i couldn't bring myself to leave the house.

now it's 5:11pm and i've been procrastinating with this english project... NO MORE! i will work on my presentation. i will work on my presentation. i will work on my presentation... zzzzzzZZZZZZZzzzzzzZZZZZzzz

You know what though? I am not sure if I woke up very long after the first dream, and if I did I must of forgot most of it because I didn't write it down in my dream journal.

Speakin about scarry dreams, i have had scarry dreams, but NO NIGHTMARES, since lucid dreaming. No monsters, just weird, heart racing shit.
