"exploring the world of lucid dreaming" by stephen laberge is excellent for the fundamentals of lucid dreaming. most induction techniques are covered in it. it is based on his studies at stanford university.
you can't go wrong with that one...and it all depends what you are looking for when it comes to other recommendations... a spiritual vibe, artistic, self-help...
There are a lot of Dreaming related materials on market. LaBerge's book is probably the best for your purposes. Carlos Castaneda's book, "The Art of Dreaming" is also a good one...
"The Art of Dreaming"- Carlos Castaneda;
"Toltec Dreamer"- Graham Kane.
Well, at the moment i'm reading EWLD by LaBerge and it's very good.
Here's the link to the copy of EWOLD that I bought. I highly recommend it - some say it's the Bible of LDing.
I've got EWOLD. Basically, if you read EWOLD, you'll know everything you NEED to know about LD-ing... the essentials, at least.
I'm wondering if some kind, knowledgeable soul could give me a basic run-down of Castaneda's Art though, like, what's in it, how helpful, what kind of style/format...?
I have an e-book of it I could email you.....It's pretty helpful. It explains dreaming in a different way than LaBerge's book. I guess the best way to find out is to read it. It may or may not help you. It helped me, though.Quote:
