Different people experience different sensations or sounds when falling asleep consciously. For me, I get shivers all over and I hear loud "voooophm" and buzzing sounds. Sometimes it feels like I’m getting thrown around in different directions--it's fun.Quote:

nah i don't mean sleep paralysis. i mean beforehand, just while relaxing and lying there.
I know what you mean mongreloctopus. Most everyone has an increased heart rate. Maybe this explains it.Quote:

I have not had too much success either when I have gotten too hot.
I have never experience chills. yet ;)
Yeah I often get hot, and due to the heat I get Itchy, which totally ruins any chance of me achieving the WILD. I just turn off the radiator and open the window fully a few hours before I go to bed, and that tends to sort out the heat problem.
Yeah I sometimes get that to... Really anoying and distracting when I get to hot...
Yeah I get problems with heat alot when trying to WILD. WILDing for me is pretty much impossible already because of my medication, as I can't lie still anymore :(
As I just commented on a prior post of yours Keurslager, does your medication help you lie still at night?Quote:

I am familiar with seroquel. This is often used for psychosis or schizophrenia. But as a sedative or benzodiazepine classification, it usually has a very calming effect.

Howetzer, I was actually intending in the post to mean I can't lie still rather because of the medication than without it. This might be a side effect of the medication, as these can cause random twitches from what I've read. I have been on several medications, including lorazepam chlorprothixene and olanzapine (a benzodiazepine and 2 neuroleptics) These definitely all have a calming effect, but in the case of the neuroleptics, the calmness is more of a zombie like slowness of mind and body than a pleasant calmness of benzodiazepines.
