      Huh??//>?/

As I was reading the MILD tutorial, I read " Lie down and drift back to sleep. Imagine that you are back in the dream that you just had" and I came up with this idea:
Could you imagine that you are in a dream you never had? Like a daydream, and enter it? Go through the steps of recognizing a dreamsign and such, before you initially go to sleep for the night?
Has anyone done this, or is this out of the question?

Definitely, it's called dream incubation. Basically you imagine whatever scenario (if you want an LD, something where you'll do an RC) and try to drift to sleep while still imagining it, and hopefully you'll end up in a dream like that. There's a tutorial on it here

that's pretty much what i do..i lay down and i daydream about a lucid dream, and just let my mind be free..because that's all an LD is, a free mind, dreaming...and i just day dream pretty much and relax.....i sometimes have DILD's but not of what i thought of while i was awake
