What's your favorite transformation/form?

Mine is a dragon, a secret agent, and maybe an ant. That's coz i'm still learning, but when i master it i'll transform myself into.... Sora, Cloud, Sephiroth, Zero, Nobunaga Oda, Hanzo Hattori, Sun Ce, Lu Bu, my other self (let's call it a half-dark half-light blue-haired man with half dark half white wings - you get the idea - with a sword-whip in the left hand and a rod-nunchaku in the right hand - and don't forget the dark purple eyes and the mecha-arms and legs) and other things I remember later (whoa what a long list).

Got this idea while reading another topic, so what's your favorite form/transformation in a dream?

Being fairly new to Lucid Dreaming, I can't say I've ever transformed into anything. Nor can I recall a dream where I've been something other than myself...odd. However, if I had the ability, I would definitely turn myself into a Jedi Knight--complete with Force powers and a lightsaber and everything. I also wouldn't mind transforming myself into a phoenix. That'd be sweet.

Believe it or not, my favorite form is a grey fox. I love them, and when I can exert enough will to totally recreate a forest, I will become a fox and scamper through the woods. Such fun.

Hmmm... I'm pretty new to LD-ing.

But in a recent non-lucid, I was a sort of dolphin/scuba-diver hybrid. It was quite cool. I was controlling myself through use of a computer mouse, but as the dream went on, it shifted to first-person, like, real-life. That was fun. I was being chased by sharks.

Obviously, mine is the beautiful bird who likes to spread his wings, an eagle! It is the only one I've decided to try. During the dream, I had a pet bird and morphed with it so I grew wings etc. It was pretty exciting. When I was flying through the air though, I fell into a swamp Yuck! Additionally, I just had a dream that I was a guinea pig, it was quite annoying, nibbling carrot all day, however, eventually I fell out of a window!

I never thought about morphing/transforming into animals before while lucid. But, next time I'm lucid I might try a rabbit! I just love fluffy animals!

Wouldn't it be sort of ironic, in a twisted sort of way, if while being a bunnywabbit in your dreams, a passing predatory eagle swoops in and snatches you up?

Mine would be a wolf, or more specifically a grey wolf or timber wolf. However, making it real is a challenge, as I am not sure how to feel, or anything else like that.

I haven't actually done it yet, but I would love to turn into a black panther. Or any other big cat, really; I just like black. I think it would be great fun to run around and climb stuff, maybe mess around with dream characters. What would be cool is to find a society of some sort of creature, turn into one of them, and join that society... 8)

Mines pretty simple. It's a small bluebird. I just love the freedom from everything, even being noticed, when I'm a bluebird. The feathers are so simple but the colors still intricate. God or someone had to spend sometime placing each feather.

I havent tried this yet, but I'd like to try turning into a wolf (see my avatar?)

I also would love to turn into Red XIII from Final Fantasy. I am looking to get a tattoo of him on my arm.

One time I was this wicked sweet bionic dinosaur that could do pretty much whatever he wanted as far as feats of strength. I could climb on walls, bust through doors, shoot lasers, and run super fast, not to mention totally ruin the face of anyone who messed with me. I don't do much transforming, but if I remember to I'll try some bird transformations next time I go for a fly.

I'm not very experienced at LDing but once I was beeing chased by some dogs and somehow realised I was dreaming so I transformed into an angel and spread out some beautiful white wings as I jumped into the air. It was pretty fun. Now I think i'd like to try beeing a cloud and just float into the sky. That should feel pretty weird huh?

I like to morph into a ghost figure, my feet sort of sink into the ground and a black mist forms around me. It’s a weird feeling when you can stride down a street, black mist forming behind you.

Although my custom title says dragon lover, I have always thought of my self as a wolf, or a were wolf, or an anthro' wolf if you know what that is.

But I have never managed a transformation yet :(

I've been in dreams before where I was a particular human character but never remembered being another creature. How exactly would one transform themselves? I mean, there are techniques for flying, moving through walls, teleportation, summoning etc.... so what are the techniques for transformations? Is it easier than some of the other techniques?

I think you can do anything in dreams as long as you belive you can do it, you must not have any little single doubt in your mind, and then you will succed.
Technikally think somethin wich would grant you the ability to change form. Maybe a device, in which you can chose a form, and it will change you to that, or maybe some pills, or you could try something like going through a mirror, and when you come out you will have that form.

When it comes to thinking up technqus for LDing, feel free to use your imagination. If I were to try and transform into something/someone else, I would first imagine what it would feel like to be it/them. If you wanted to be a cat, for example, imagine where each limb would be and the smaller space that you would be fitting into; think of what the fur might be like. Then you can try slowly shifting into the new form, maybe starting with a hand or arm or leg. Feel the change and eventually make it apply to your whole self.

You could also have one of your DCs try turning you into something. Be creative :)

I've only had two dreams (that I can remember) that I was noticeably anything other than human. I was a vampire in a dream a few months ago, which was only kinda cool, because there wasn't really any transformation happening.

Last night though, coincidentally, I had my first werewolf dream ever, which was tight as all hell.
I'd highlight, if I had time, but I don't, so I'll just post the whole thing for anyone who cares enough to read it. :cooler:

"The Pack"

Ok, I can’t exactly remember how the plot to this got started, but it had something to do with Todd, Joe, and myself and we were searching for some kind of treasure or mythical artifact or something. I can’t remember exactly what it was, but it was hidden somewhere up in the mountains. The thing about this little quest was that we knew the areas were being guarded by werewolves, and that the treasure we were looking for was actually hidden inside the skull of one of these things, but that wasn’t too bad, because I’d realized, through conversation, I think, that we were werewolves also.
We pulled up to a narrow passageway in the snow-covered mountains. We were in Todd’s Jeep, but I think it was a different color. We got out and began walking slowly through this area that was nothing but high stone walls and snow all around, and was leading into the mouth of a cave. It daytime out, and the sky was a bleak and realistic grey.
At first, we’d been moving cautiously, not knowing exactly how many of these werewolves were out here, but we knew we only needed to kill a certain one of these things to get what it was we needed, so we planned on making this an in and out operation.
As we were going in, the three of us saw something stirring in the cave. It only flashed by for a second, but we could tell that whatever animal was moving around in an off-section of the little cave was alone. Seeing the possibility for a 1-1 fight, Todd says something very Vegeta-esque like “This shouldn’t take long,” and suddenly starts running forward in the snow, throwing off his jacket as he sprints toward the cave and the large shadow within. He disappeared among the shadows and we couldn’t see him transform but, from the sounds of the two monsters fighting in the cave, it appeared he had, seconds before engaging. Joe and I waited outside for a moment, listening to them go at it, and keeping our eyes on our surroundings because we knew the sounds of struggle would bring more.
A few moments later, all had gone silent. Todd comes striding back out of the cave proudly, back in his human form, and wearing the tatters of what was left of a shirt and pants (as far as can remember. The detail on what he was wearing was sketchy.) The thing was, he came out empty-handed.
When Joe asked where the (whatever it was) was, Todd said something about “not doing all of the dirty work on this little trip.” I remember arguing with him about that because the whole point of trying to do this as quickly as possible was to get out before reinforcements came, and now, one of us was going to have to take the time to go back in. I don’t remember much of the argument, but I think we cut it short and decided to all go back in and get it, because we were there before I knew it.
In the cave, Todd was still refusing to get the (whatever it was) and was standing with his arms crossed. Joe, looking at the werewolf corpse didn’t exactly jump at the chance, either. Finally I’m like “Fuck..I’ll do it..” I remember hesitating a little bit, because I had to stick my arm up inside this werewolf’s gaping mouth and pull something down from out of its skull. I just stared at the thing, not wanting to put my arm up between those jaws, and Todd said something sarcastically about us “having to hurry up,” mocking me for arguing about hurrying before taking my time with this part. Sooner or later, I got up the nerve and just shoved my arm up into the huge mouth of this thing and pulled out something, (I still don’t know what the hell it was we went up there for), and we started running back toward the Jeep.
As we were running back, the inevitable happened. Just as we saw the Jeep in view, streams of these beasts came sprinting out of caves in the high mountain walls of the V shaped canyon we were parked in. There was no way we were going to make it to the Jeep in time, and we knew it. Their four legs were bringing them directly down the walls towards us faster than our two legs were letting us run toward them and the car.
I drew back my shoulders and threw my coat in the snow. Leaning forward, I could feel myself transform, my muscles and bones expanding and popping into their new shapes, mind racing as if I’d just shot up pure adrenaline. I’ll never forget the feeling of running on all fours, paralleled by Todd and Joe, who had also transformed, directly toward the horde of other werewolves that were matching speed, in our direction.
Our groups clashed in the middle and what followed was a massive battle between our side, outnumbered, and theirs; bones cracking, blood and gore spraying along the jagged walls of the mountain’s face, being slammed up against the Jeep so hard that it cracked the windshield and metal frame; just an all out war with the ferocity of a pack of rabid….well….werewolves. (felt very Underworld 2-ish)
I don’t remember whether we actually won, or if we just managed to transform again and escape when there was a break in the action, (which could be considered winning, given the circumstances :P) but, before I knew it, we were back in the Jeep and leaving the mountains, covered in blood from head to toe. As we were driving back, I remember that one of my teeth were loose. I worked it out of my mouth and threw it out the passenger window. Then I noticed another was loose, and I did the same thing. Then another, and another. Though my mouth was already bloody from mauling our opponents, it was starting to gush with my own blood as my teeth were falling out by the dozen. (I never had the common “my teeth are falling out” dream before now, that I can remember. It figures it takes such a wild situation for me to experience one of the most universal archetypal dream scenarios. Lol.)

Later, (all my teeth had come back in :wink: but I’m still pretty sure it was the same dream) We were in some high-rise hotel suite at night. We were throwing a party that, I think, was to celebrate the victory (and money :wink:) we’d made off of whatever the hell it was that we brought down out of the mountains. There was a hell of a lot of people there, good music, low lighting and everything. I can’t remember too much of the detail from then on, but the dream pretty much ended on a hazy, but much appreciated, party atmosphere.

anyway for small changes I use change my reflection in the mirror, I think i'll to something similar this time too

After a little thought, I have remembered a non-lucid where I became a wolf. I simply pounced forward and landed on all fours, I wasn't lucid, so in the dream I just kinda knew it would work.

I had a dream the other night where i was at a party and every1 was changing into stuff using something. when it was my turn nothing happened so i was disapointed. in past dreams ive been a dog and a bird and other people as far as techniques ive heard standing in front of a mirror helps but when its lucid for me i just try and it works. often tho ill start out that way in a non lucid

Thats pretty wierd. Were you having one of those OBEs, only indream???

I remember when I was younger that I once was a dolphin in a dream. It was really sweet, like swimming real fast and jumping out of the water, and almost flying through the air. Can't really remember if I was lucid or not though. Might've felt normal to be a dolphin. :) Would be cool to be an eagle or a panther. Maybe a monkey. Or a snake? Looking forward to experimenting when I'm more experienced with lucid dreaming.
