My First LD and a few questions about it
Ok, well last night i had my first LD and while I was pleasantly surprised, It wasn't exactly what I wanted. First of all, I tried the reality checks when I was in the dream, and actually, none of them worked, however I did notice a person in my room at 3AM and then I realized oh wait...I must be dreaming. I lept out the window, and tried to fly, but i only sorta bounced...and actually, it kinda hurt. lol. I then broke into a car and drove somewhere idunno like an airport but the thing was, even though i realized i was in a dream, it was kind of weird simply because i didn't really have any control. I tried to make things happen and they just wouldn't. Also, i had a sorta claustrophobic feeling while in the dream, just like the area I was in was surrounded by inpenetrable walls. Kind of weird but I need to know how to make these more realistic and more controlled, cause I was kind of dissapointed.

You had your first LD - don't be disappointed!!
Control takes a lot of practice - I still have a problem with control, even after all the LDs I have. I think it's just easier for some people than others.
Just keep working on having more LDs, and you'll learn something new each time you have one. Some may seem more real than others, but you can't classify all your LDs into not being realistic because you've only had the one so far. You never know what the next one may be like...
Think positive! :)
