      WILD giving me sleep problems

Well, I tried to a MILD/WILD, whatever. I got pretty far. I was pretty tired when I was going to sleep, so I lied down on my back... Well, I get to the point where I almost can't feel myself anymore. I was having vibrations, and just feeling really light, thought I was in SP. Well some fag had to yell out across the hall, and it woke me up. But now I almost felt refreshed like I just had sleep, and now I'm having trouble going to sleep... hence me writing this message. Is this normal, because if it is... I'm not even going to attempt WILDs, I can't afford losing sleep over it when I need to wake up the next day early..

Getting used to WILDs will take some time. Don't worry about your sudden insomnia. It happens to the best of us, once in awhile.

Ya just go to back normally and skip WILD if you failed. Get some relaxation strategies and things to occupy your mind with.

Mm yeah, I'm always completely shattered throughout the day after a WILD attempt. I wouldnt recommend repeatedly trying it before exams!!

Are you sure that was a person yelling IRL, or a Hypnogogic Sound? I have had sounds while relaxing that sound like my alarm clock going off, or my dog barking, or even the dryer going (a common one), when they normally wouldn't at that time.

Yeah I get similar things like that, sometimes even my mum telling me to wake up, then turning up later, and ACTUALLY telling me to, so I know it was imaginary

I also have the same problem.

When you attempt to WILD your breaking your normal cycle of "just getting a good nites sleep" and you try to actually be somewhere and get into a lucid dream.

Your sudden insomnia probably comes from breaking this normal cycle and you temporarily "forget" how to actually fall asleep.
