possibility of meeting stranger from dreams

i've been having sort of a recurring dream. there have been 5 of them so far, and they only occur when i'm sleeping next to my girlfriend. i love my girlfriend and am completely faithful to her and against cheating. all of the dreams have to do with the same girl, but i've never met this girl in real life. all of the dreams have been in sequential order from me meeting her to the most recent one where we had sexual intercourse. in the dreams, i am completely aware that i have a girlfriend and am cheating on her. i don't believe in love at first sight, i believe you should get to know one before you can actually say that you love them, but in these dreams i experienced love at first sight. me and this dream girl are completely obsessed with eachother and totally in love. in my concious life i still do love my girlfriend, but i thinka bout this dream girl a suprisingly large amount of the time i'm with her. it's driving me insane. is it possible to meet this girl in real life? i dont want to because i dont want any complications between me and my girlfriend, but another part of me feels so empty that i have this girl that im in love with and think about regularly, and i feel like i may never get a chance to meet her. has anyone had a dream similar to this? or has anyone ever met someone they don't know in a dream then eventually met them later in life? please give your input. i'm going insane. i'd also like to add that in the last dream me and the dream girl were kissing and one of my lip rings fell out. i awoke next to my real life girlfriend and touched my mouth to find that same ring missing. i looked all over for it for about an hour all around the bed and couldn't find it. ANY INPUT WILL HELP PLEASEEE?

anyone have dreams similar to this? or has anyone ever met someone in real life that they previously met for the first time in a dream? please comment.

Don't think you'll ever meet that girl in real life unfortunately. Lucid Dreams are cool and all but after all they are just a creation of your mind...

the girl you keep meeting in those dreams is probably "perfect girl". she is the perfect interpretation of what you find in the perfect girl. I think you brain might be testing you and saying that you must find the perfection in your girlfriend and yourself

i get what your saying, philton. i never really looked at it that way. the only thing that freaks me out is that for some reason no matter how hard i try not to i think about the girl from my dreams frequently and it drives me nuts cause i feel like ill never meet her and there will just be an empty hole in my life

Yea i think this is the case,but i red somewhere that OBE sex is posible :P ,but i siruesly dought that

although it's never happened to me personally, some of my friends claim to have met friends or significant others in the dreamworld before they met them in the real world. in fact, years ago, when she was 13 or 14 or something, my wife did one of those folk-things where you put certain stuff under your pillow or whatever and then you're supposed to dream about the person you're going to marry. she was pretty disappointed at the time, because she dreamed about a taller guy with dark hair and eyes and glasses. the kid she had a crush on at the time was shorter, with light hair, blue eyes, and no glasses. well, guess what i look like.

so i would say, based on this example and other stories i've heard, that it is possible that you might meet someone in a dream before you meet them IRL. however, just because it's possible doesn't mean that it will happen. maybe this girl is your soul mate and when you eventually meet her IRL you will have to decide to leave your girlfriend for her, or whatever. on the other hand, maybe this dream-girl is just that, a dream-girl. maybe she doesn't exist in real life at all. since you don't really know for sure, here's the best advice i can give you: enjoy them both, your real-life girlfriend and your dream-girl. when you're asleep, spend time with your dream-girl, get to know her, enjoy your time with her. when you're awake, spend time with your real girlfriend, show her that you love her, etc. but keep an eye out for your dream-girl. you never know where or when you might encounter her, or what will happen if you do. although i won't make a recommendation one way or the other, you should consider whether or not to tell your real girlfriend about these dreams and this girl. on the one hand, i don't really think the moral implications of our real life carry over into the dream world. so you should be able to do anything you want, with anybody you want, in your dream, and your real-life girlfriend shouldn't get upset. also, if you tell her about the girl, then if you ever actually meet her, your real girlfriend might better understand what's going on, and why you have to at least meet this girl. on the other hand, regardless of whether or not morals carry over into dreams, your girlfriennd might not like the idea that you have another, even if she's not real. if this is the case (and if you agree with me that morals don't necessarily carry over), then why bother telling her? it'd only make her upset.
