ssoooooo last night i went to bed and decided to wait until i was dreaming to try to get lucid. But the next thing i know it feels like 5 minuets later but it's 525 am. and i wasted my whole night. how can i prevent that from happening again??? :mad:

You could try this: while you are trying to fall asleep, repeat to yourself "I will awaken after I have a dream, and I will remember the dream". This may not work the first time or two, but eventually you should get the desired results. Then once you are awake, journal your dream and then return to bed, repeating "I will realize that I am dreaming" or "The next thing I experience will be a dream".

yes this works,i know how to wake my sailf up almost at any time,yust like setting an alarm,but this isn't 100% reylable
u can try makeing ur alarm go of at(for example) 6 AM evey evning for a week or more,soon u will find that u are wakeing every night at 6 AM

Also, in addition to keeping a dream journal, keep another journal that outlines exactly what you want to accomplish that night. This will get you in the mode of having a plan.
