      Dream Sound.

Hello Everyone, i was just looking for some insight into an idea from some more experienced dreamers . I was playing my guitar in a dream last night and the sound was more intense, its really hard to put in words, it was as if sound in dreams has more definetion, meaning, feeling. I was wondering if anyone expericened this allso or had any input. Thanks

i've always been rather fascinated with the way acoustics are so different in lucid dreams. this makes sense sinse we are not using our ears, a sensory organ, to pick up vibrations in the air. instead this sounds that we are experiencing are coming from within us. they are everywhere and nowhere at all. pure electricity coming from our own nervous system. and it can be very intense!

Also, since it is generated by our mind, it is performed in the most emotional, meaningful interpretation possible to ourselves!

I find sounds to be dull and muted in dreams. I think it's based on which of your senses means the most to you, so a musical person would assosciate more feeling to sounds.

Dreams certainly can have an effect. Physics can be different. For instance, you could hear each individual sound wave, or follow their peaks and troughs.

Also, there wouldn't be a limit to hearing pitch as there is in real life. We are not dealing with sensory input in the normal sense. So you can experience the sound, and even become it if you want. I've had dreams where I could see the sound as color.

I play piano freakin' well in my dreams. In my dreams.

Yeah, there's a big difference with sounds in dreams. They're usually more awesome, detailed, hyperrealistic (is this a word? ).

Sometimes I have found that in dreams the sound tends to waver a bit. As of to pulse in and out, it’s hardly recognizable but I can pick up on it.

wow yeah your right it seems any dream music ( well for me anyway ) Is like UBER intense and very emotional.
Our dreams are firsthand creations, rather than residues of waking life. We have the capacity for infinite creativity.
