Why can't you sleep on your back? Are you just uncomfortable with doing so, does it pain you or is it for some other reason?
why do u have to sleep on ur back,if ur WILDing u shod sleep how ever u want to,last night i was sleeping on my back and i cloudn't evin relax
Is it really easier to LD while sleeping on your back?
It's really not very correct to place such a stereotype here at all.
Different people find different positions to sleep in more comfortable for themselves and nothing about sleeping on one's back has any proven prerequisites for successful lucidity, as far as I've read and heard.
I can't sleep on my back either. It's not comfortable for me to be on my back more then... I don't know... 15 minutes.
I best do my relaxt thing on my back, I'm totally relaxed, heart start to beat harder, breath is deeper, I start to see random scenes and hear voices in my head, focusing on my "lucid dream feeling", I feel succes, but - I'm sick of beeing on my back (of that position) and I have to get on my side and everything is gone :(
The most common, natural sleep position is close to the fetal position, on your side. I'm assuming this is all in your head. I've never had a lucid dream on my back(cause I dont sleep on my back). Just relax on your side or wherever you're most comfortable and let yourself drift off a bit(assuming you're wilding).
I do understand why you may find sleeping in a certain sleeping position easier to lucid dream.
Sleeping in an unnatural or uncomfortable sleeping position can lead to SP and may lead to awearness of dreaming while in a dream, thus becomeing lucid.
I spent 45 minutes trying to go SP on my back with no result.
As soon as I rolled onto my side I went Sp in about 10 minutes. It's a different story for everyone.
reread what I said. I said nothing about being on your back, just an uncomfortable position can lead to SP.Quote:
