A very strange and amusing dream.

Hello,

I'm new here, and I find your website very interesting. To be honest, I can't wait to go to sleep tonight to start 'Dream Recall'. The whole thing about controlling dreams sounds really interesting.

Anyway, I'll get to the point.

The other night, I had a very strange non-lucid (I presume) dream. Here's how it went:

I can't exactly remember how it started, but I new that I wasn't supposed to be somewhere. I entered a room which seemed to be a Japanese walk-in-wardrobe. I met someone there. Who was it, you may ask? John Howard (our PM). I can't remember any of the conversation, but I don't think it was awkward.

The dream ended with a strange scene. There was a weather reporter in a small, metal dingy, saying that "The storm is definately coming from the north". She was nowhere near shore, and the sky was clear. All of a sudden, and huge dark cloud leaps out of nowhere, and she is struck by lightning.

Then it's back to the wardrobe, and John Howard says: "And that is how it ends, boat."

I was really confused by the dream, I have no Idea what it was about, and I don't think it was related to anything that happened in my day, or what John Howard is doing.

Any idea's what this dream could mean?

I have an idea. It might be a somewhat disappointing idea though. Anyway, your dream probably didn't mean anything. All dreams are generally kinda random, but they often have to do with something you experienced during the day, as you seemingly know. However, this doesn't have to be the case, and seeing as anything is possible in dreams, you can sometimes get into the weirdest situations just because your imagination feels like it.

Dreams can have "meaning" in that they reflect, for instance, a part of your personality or emotions from time to time. If you think this is the case, you might want to think about if anything that happened in the dream can be associated with either of those things.
Also, don't look too deeply when trying to uncover the "hidden meaning" of your dreams. Often, things that can actually tell you something about yourself will not be displayed in a very symbolic way at all, but instead, are shown very bluntly.

wasnt jonny overseas when you had that dream?

Maybe you saw something on the news about iraq or australian relations or something.. maybe how the ships are currently goign over to that place above australia(forgot name) to help out..

This thread would probably fare better in Dream Interpretation.

That could well be correct! I don't remember seeing anything about Japan, though.
