      Was this a false awakening?

      Well, I "woke up" this "morning" and heard this strange scrathcing sound. I banged on my bed to make it stop. I got up, and my mom was about to go to work, like she normally does. She said, "I hope you change those pants!" I got on the computer like I normaly do, got on a website I had been there the night before. Everything was right on the message board, exept that the thread I had made a while back wasn't there. Then the dream faded out. Was this a FD? I hope so.. A FD means that If I had done a reality check, I would have been lucid!

      Yes it was a false awakening. In every dream you can get lucid if you make a reality check, it doesn't need to be a FA, but in FAs it's usually easier to recognize that something isn't right.
      If the dream hadn't faded out maybe you would have gotten lucid.
