Some exotic LD/Astral methods.
Hey,
Right, while I'm still grasping onto the concept of LD, a good friend tried to get me to understand the basics. He told me of some various ways to reach these wonderful experiences, and I am just wondering whether you guys know of them?
The first is, where, after a serious of meditational excersises, you somehow visualize you have your own tower, and with your ability, you are building it as high as you can. Every time you raise your tower just a bit, you are closer to getting there. (I don't know where, I have never experienced anything like this)
Eventually, you begin to see other towers on the horizon, where other people, of similiar abilty, have built their towers.
Right, the other visualization is that you build a temple. After walking around it several times, if you can, you walk inside. You walk down a long, dark corridor, until you reach a door at the end. You open the door. You see a chair in the middle of the room, with God himself sitting in the chair. You walk around and around the room until eventually, if you manage to sit in the chair, you become God.
I really don't know what to make of these methods, and I am wondering perhaps some of you guys have heard of them? I would be really grateful if someone could provide me with an answer, because it has been nagging inside me for a while now.
Thanks,
Ben.

sounds to me like its just meathods to do a WILD...
To WILD I used to imagine myself walking up a massive open stairway with the stairs appearing under my feet with each step upward, (this sounds much like the building) it doesnt matter what your imagining so long as it keeps your attention long enough for you to get into an LD (about 30 mins to an hour)
for me imagining doing things isnt a very good WILD meathod, it makes for low-deatail dreams that break apart a few seconds after I get in them. I recommend Seekers tutorial on WILDing here: http://dreamviews.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=12621
although putting a religious/ mythical tie around the WILDing process may make the process easier at first, its best to just learn the real meathod so theres no placebo involved with your learning
I hope my post made sense lol
