so..
I just learned about LD's like a month ago
my girlfriend told me about them
and it turns out I'd had a couple before
and a couple since then..
still..
I'm a bit confused about the whole concept..
sooooo..
any advice you have would be nice
I'll probably be able to narrow it down to more specific concepts a bit later..
but..
for now..
I'd appreciate any help you can give me
Start out in the newbie zone. That is where you will receive more help. Scan the posts in this forum. MANY MANY people have asked the same questions. You are not the first person to try and learn how to Lucid Dream.
Read "Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming". It is a very good book on the topic. That will be your best start.
Welcome to the forum, Mike! :D So what exactly are you confused about? Lucid dreaming is simply knowing that you're deaming. Therefore, if you know you're dreaming, it's possible to change things of your choice within the dream, and the ultimate goal of LDer's is to have full control and excellent recall. Also, you can control dreams without actually being lucid, so there is a difference between lucidity and having control.
As the others have pointed out above, this forum is a wealth of knowledge, so please feel free to utilize the search tool and the tutorials. The Dream Guides (the green people) are available via PM if you have any specific questions, but please feel free to post any questions or experiences you have in the forum.
