I mean like at night, right when you go to sleep, is this safe? I'm asking because, I don't think SP is activated during the first two hours of sleep, and I am worried that if I dream in deep sleep, I may sleep walk. Is it ok to attempt when going to sleep?

Actually, sleepwalking usually occurs during non-REM stage of sleep. I have read that it can occur in dreaming stages early in the morning - which is obviously not at the onset of sleep such as you're trying to do.
WILD is difficult to do right away because first you need to be tired enough to get your mind "convinced" enough that it is ready to dream. Take into consideration your excitement or eagerness to fall asleep and dream is ironically counterproductive to the process - you'll end up keeping yourself up!
If you are succesfull, however, prepare for only a short ride - dreams last longer as the night progresses. Your first couple dreams will not last as long as those early in the morning. That's the best time to WILD.
Assuming for a second that you don't already have a sleep walking problem, its not an issue. You won't actually succeed in a wild unless your body falls asleep, and if your body falls asleep then you will have SP and it wont be a problem.
It may be true that SP doesn't normally come on in the first two hours, I am not sure though, but its not a factor. You normally don't have much rem sleep during the first two hours either, yet clearly if you WILD you go into rem since your dreaming.
Sleep walking is almost always harmless anyway.
The sleep walker , although technically asleep, has their eyes open, and can navigate normally. Even activities such as driving a car are possible, and not as dangerous as they might seem. Most of cases of sleep walking, however, do not even involve getting up and walking around. Most of the time you're likely only to sit up in bed, or open your eyes, before going straight back to sleep.
