      wheat germ

I hear it is chock full of vitamin b6? Do you think I may be able to eat enough to effect my dreams if I consume some before I goto sleep tonight?

I would do it just for the experiment, as it might do something, but I would wager that it doesn't do shit.

Juz woke up bout twenty minutes ago so I'll count this as my dj,

anywho, instead of the anticipated FA it was instead a DILD. Now I do not know wether or not the dream was very dark because of the B6, or what I read about B6 and confabulated this detail or what. But this is how it went

As I said, the dream was very, very dark. As if it were nightime and there were no lights on at all but still just dim enough to see. The setting was my home and my father and I were going about discussing a better way to secure the screen so misquitos wouldn't come in. He told me what to do... actually he was VERY specefic about it so I'll write down the process while its still in my head

skip it if das thou desire
Take the pulled out corner of the screen, cut open a long slender strip of rectangular plastic from a gallon milk jug and poke three holes in it (top, middle bottom), back out the two screws holding the frame in and slide the screen over it and sandwhich it with the plastic and secure.

So as my father walked away, I stood from the chair I was sitting in. Again, as far as vividness everything felt REAL in the physical sense. It was just dark. This is right around when I became lucid. I opened the door to the refridgerator and it was still dark. HOWEVER the light turned on and this is when I noticed things didn't start to add up.

I kept checking the light on the fridge, then the freezer, then the fridge again. Then I turned on the overhead light. Same thing. It was as if the lightbulbs themselves would turn on but they cast no illumination (or very dim, as in 5%) on the sourunding area. Then it clicked in my mind and I became lucid. I performed a nose realtity test just to be sure, and sure enough...

That lasted about 5 seconds, where I experienced a rip in the dream world and myself becoming concious (something I've done twice now and I'll ellaborate on later and elsewhere). I must of checked the clock about 10 times.

Now, as far as how much wheatgerm I ate. It was about five servings or 10tbsps. Not bad stuff actually, good on icecream and it washes down easily with something to drink.

This experience kind of gave me a little perspective I didn't quite ponder with the dream world. When performing reality checks, we so depend on the outcome one way or another that when we awake rely on things to add up just enough to justify our conciousness. Wheras if my subconcious or brain were jussssst capable enough to keep up with the details needed to clarify waking from dream, then I could still be dreaming right now.

Hmmm...surprising. I guess eating a lot of wheat germ does work, and I was wrong. I think that what you did was much better than taking a B6 pill or capsule or whatever, as it presumably induced lucidity (unless it was just your expectation), and while it was still dark, it didn't involve having multiple scary FAs, which I would say is probably a good thing.
