For the past about 3 or four nights i have had some crazy nightmares. They are different than normal ones tho. They are not like monsters chasing me or anything, its more real life events that i would never want to be in. The crazy part is that they seem more real than life itself. Any one know any ways to stop these dreams?

It's a bit difficult to help with not much detail or info about the recurring nightmare/dreams. Generally speaking, recurring dreams tend to be or represent obstacles in your mind and/or waking life. Is there something in day-to-day life that is annoying you? You may be in the process of personal growth as these recurring nightmares are lessons learned within our subconscious. A lot of the time, these recurring dreams end differently and its best if you are the one who comes out on top, for eg. if you are fighting an evil or weird stranger or in some form of danger, you eventually beat them. You may keep having these dreams until the lesson is learned or whatever is annoying you is resolved.

Interesting. I never have nightmares myself, but two nights ago, I had a dream in which it was revealed to me that I had two children that I knew nothing about. For some reason, this turned me really desperate and really freaked me out (which is weird because I normally have almost no emotion in dreams). And just like you said, it seemed at least as real as real life.
The best advice I can give you is to try and use these dreams to your advantage. Just remind yourself you should do a reality check whenever you find yourself in a situation you don't want to be in. If this works, then you can change the dream after you become lucid, and maybe ask your subconcious or someone involved in the situation what these dreams mean.
I am like that too (haven't had a real nightmare since age 6), and a few days ago I had a dream like that (different plot though). It was something about having to bike down past florida (my dream mind has worse geographic skills than my regular mind, and there was land past florida), I think to Mexico, as there was no food in America.Quote:

Doing RCs in bad situations sounds like a good idea to me too, that way you'll do it in the dream, and you can turn the dream around or wake yourself up (whichever you choose).
