I've only had a few intended LD's and each time when I look down I don't see my body, I just see the floor. I have tried the looking at your hands technique to keep lucidity and have seen my hands but they are just floating in the air.
The only time I have seen my body was when I had a DILD, (which was pretty cool because I put my finger through my arm.)
Anyway I was just wondering if you guys see your body as if you were awake when you look down while dreaming.

I don't recall checking... In the 1 long LD I had, I wasn't fully awake, so I never thought of it.
However, constantly in dreams, I won't have a body. I'll just have a point of view, and watch stuff happen. I do remember one recent dream in which I did, but that was a nightmare.

In the only LD I've had so far, I could see my and arm, but I didn't bother checking out the rest of my body. Useally, and arm is attached to somewhere :D

By the way, it's good to see the forum up and running again :)

My body was intact in all my LD's although i have heard of people getting the whole 'camera' view.
While not unusual its a pain in the ass all i can think of is to concentrate on the self image so close your 'eyes' imagine an image of yourself against a black background affirm thats who you are do it enough you should get a body.
Usefull waking practice would be to look in the largest mirror you can find and concentrate on the image of yourself saying in your head "this is who i am" then do it internaly with a black background like you will do in your dream. Do this enough you should always have a body or become verry vain possibly both :)
