1st attempt at recall-4 dreams... All others after that, 0... Last night I randomly w/o trying remember an incredibly long dream which seemed to last one whole night ( real time ). It was like a series of medieval fairy-tale obstacle courses which were all pretty bad-ass. I also had some pretty dark looking armor on, it was pretty pimp... I ate a bunch of junkfood before bed, maybe that's why?

Ahaha, I get that quite a bit these days too. Dunno why, just randomly get days when I can recall the last few dream periods, in great length!

      Btw, nice avatar! ;D

As far as I know from my own experience, these things take many shifts and turns. I had periods of time when I was very interested in dreams and I was writing down the number of dreams per night and their length and the number of sleep hours every day... That time I was able to recall up to 8 dreams per night.
When I stopped taking written evidence of them, my dream recall reduced up to 1-2 dreams per night. I had a job once and I was very tired when I got home and in the morning there were times when I remembered no dream at all... So, it's very tricky. It also depends on how you wake up (suddenly or if you take your time and think at the night just gone), on your mood when going to sleep, wathing TV before that and a lot of other things, including meals before falling asleep, alcohol use and so on...

I've ran into a long dry spell, as well. I'll remember snippets, that's fine, I remember certian events... But whole dreams seems to be beyond the ability of my subconcious.

I find that eating food that normally wouldn't "mix" well and watching tv for an hour before going to bed makes your dreams much more vivid... It's not really practical or healthy but it works o.O.

I watched 3 hours of TV before bed last night.
There was a Fresh Prince of Bel-air marathon.
I did remember short bits of a couple of dreams, but nothing that's worthy of writing in the journal.

I bet Fresh Prince would give you some seriously fucked up dreams... I once had a dream abou

I play games for a long time before going to sleep sometimes, which leads to some pretty weird dreams e.g fleeing city 17 before the combine citadel collapses...
