What are some of your reeoccuring DC "enemies" (the type of DC that has an evil presence or just you dont like )
mine would be:
-"The syndicate":This is the first name that i came to mind when thinking about them. They are buisnessmen wearing gasmasks who perform some pretty fucked up shit. Ex.i was driving by a motel and they had the place surronded, all the doors were open and each one of them had a few body bags in front and the rooms were really bloody. needless to say i kept on driving. I always see them for a few seconds in some of my worser dreams(reminds me of the G-Man from the half life series).
surprisingly i found a few pictures of them.

-Statues with red eyes: when i see these things, thats when i know things are about to go bad...
So what about you?

Clowns, the Burger King "King" that used to be Icedawg's avatar, invisible entities chasing me...

Random people that have red eyes.

Since i enjoy fighting in my lucid dreams (almost more then sex&#33 I dont have much problem with enemies, except one, and that is a evil (more evil?) version of myself. I've fought him two times and lost both times. He wears a trenchcoat like me although his hair is more to the white colour then blonde. He also always has this stupid grin at his face..

Well the times i fought him he pierced me with a katana which felt so real that i was terrified. It was like being stabbed by a shard of ice, so cold that it felt like burning. in one dream he even tortured me.. Stabbing katanas, for what seemed like a looong time, in my body... Although It kinda motivates me to search him out. I can't wait until I have a really vivid LD so i can search for him...

That's nasty Krippe.

I have no enemies in my dreams. My dreams are much more peaceful with me doing my own thing (quite often flying).

Actually, now that I think about it, there is a guy that has recurred in multiple dreams of mine. I fight him each time (about 3 times in total). I always win in the end. Oh, yeah, he's my dad. I hate him sooo much.

I've had a few dream enemies, but no reoccuring dream enemies. In fact, I never have any reoccuring dream characters. I have a few reoccuring scenes, but, no enemies.

I don't really have enemies unless its the random guy that I have a fight with but sometimes I do have evil aliens in my dreams if that counts.

age 3-6 -Mumford from Sesame Street (in all seriousness)
age 8-12 -A 10 ft tall bearded guy with a really tall hat. Man in Black.
Recent -Mysterious evil twin of mine apparently. Maybe I've got some conflict I need to resolve?

All the time - Anyone who pisses me off, gets in my way, falls prey to my insane wishes.

Dream fights are the best though. They just.... are.

I have a few dream enemies, almost every time I see them we end up fighting, but I cant defeat them..

One thing that all lucid dreamers should remember is to never fight yourself, your evil twin or anybody who represents yourself. This is the only thing I can think of that is explicitly advised against.

I used to fight in my LDs, but then I realized that it's much more effective to make those things I fought into my allies.

I remember that being explained shortly before or after I came to this board, but that was 2.5 years ago. Fighting myself wasnt an issue for me so I pretty much forgot why it was advised so. I dont even remember if that was a post here on the boards, a book or a guide to LDing/OBEing, I was reading so much.

I'll try to remember the exact reason. If there's someone who remembers why it was advised to not fight yourself, plz post it here.

Dear Hinducow,

Have you ever been killed before in a dream. It is really a good thing. If one can die and stay in the dream for just 20 seconds or so without waking up, then one comes back alive, and this makes the Dream Persona effectively Immortal. Fear of Death vanishes as one raises up from the Dead.

I bring this up because these Syndicate People with the gas masks seem to be just right for the 'Archetype of Angels of Death -- the Grim Reapers that do the killing in such Dreams.

In my Dream it was the Guard with the Mirrored Dark Glasses from that Paul Newman Movie "Cool Hand Luke". He used that rifle to blow the back of my head off. I stayed in the dream, laying there dead, but soon got bored with laying there dead (after about 20 seconds) and so I got up and looked around and saw a Petro Station close by and so walked over and got the key for the Rest Room and went inside and examined myself in the mirror. I opened my mouth and could see sunlight out through the hole in the back of my head, and I said "yeah, I'm dead alright", and then the paradox occurred to me, that if I was up and walking around, and talking to myself, then how dead could I possibly be. I was immortal.

In the next couple of night I was killed again and again, and each time I came back to life. I was verifying to myself that I could not be killed. One dream was kind of funny. I was in an Office Building that was being taken over by Militant Feminists. 4 Militant Feminists came through the door, the first 3 with automatic machine guns, but the 4th with a carbine, and so I duck around a pillar and break toward an exit door exposed only to the fire of the 4th girl who only had a carbine. But before I could get to the exit... BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM... five bullets slam into my back and I smile thinking that it hardly made much of a difference whether or not she had a machine gun or not. But it did not kill me. I was able to laugh about such things.

That's a very interresting experience Leo, and good advice to boot. I've never had to die before in a dream, but the next time I do I'll try to think on what you've said.

I've recently been wishing that there was a way I might be able to bind my soul to my body for a while, so much that even through death I could not part with it. Imagine that. I'd be the first, true undead man. I suppose I'll keep dreaming -_-

I had the same problem. But not anymore =) The key here is to realize that he represents all your negative feelings, Look at him like you would a child that you love but who needs to be thrown down to submit to his parents.

Do not be afraid to call for help when you meet him. I beat my "Evil" half just a few weeks ago. Realize that there is nothing he can do to hurt you in that dream. As in this world love always wins over hate. Light always burns away the darkness. You are the light, he is the darkness. Let him be consumed by his own hate.

Do not hate him. Love him and feel sorry for him as he has lost his way and is consumed by his and others hate. Do not tolerate his behaviour. When you beat your black half you will find a new balance in your life.

Sooooo worth the effort =)

Dream enemies? I don't really have any reoccuring ones, but I've had a couple dreams where my pets would turn evil and attack me. The worst was when my dog became possesed and knocked me to the ground in my front yard. She began ripping out my throat and I remember looking up at her with blind terror and seeing these glassy, glowing red eyes staring back at me. Out of desperacy, I ended up beating her to death with a rock. I woke up crying. ...One of the most unpleasant dreams I've ever had.

Very interesting, i remember in that dream where i saw them at the motel i was in a very bad situation turning worse (i.e. alot of people wre being murdered.violently) but as for me dying in a dream? oh yeah, i died and i didnt wake up for about a minute. I was in a elevated train(like in chicago) and there was a accident, the train drove off its tracks and i died. Now instead of waking up like most people say, everything went white and i saw everything that happened in a very organized and different view( i was in the air and little numbers show where what happened) i dont remember what happened after that but i do know that there was very good chill out music playing in the background

If i do come across them again, im going to rip off that gas mask and shove it up its ass cause im immortal ( i think) biatch!

Holy crap. I'm going to try and get this down myself.

As for dream enemies, I'd have to say my clone is one of them. I have many enemies, but it's not like I know their names. There are many DCs that I just don't like their face, and just because I light them on fire they get all pissy and attack me. I guess that counts as an enemy? I guess my subconscious is also my enemy when I'm not lucid, because seriously... it's a huge asshole. It's almost as if my mind is masochistic with how bad my subconscious is to me.

This is interesting I have no recurring dream enemies although I have many DCs that are in my dreams just about everynight but I do have a dream that happens quite often, it involves someone usually just one person with a gun. They are always a different person and I'm always in a room or my house. I'm trying to keep them out while they are trying to kill me. Only once did I realize that I was dreaming and fly out the window I wish I could realize this as a dream sign. I'm always so terrified mabye I'll let this person kill me and become immortal

Dream Enemies, I've had one, when I was little. Thing is, it's a real car. Yes car. Long time ago, I had this dream where a green old car was alive and trying to kill me. The car in real life was always parked in the same place (same in the dream) (but nowadays it's not there anymore but another spot). Next time I see the car I'm going to check out what model is it, because I never knew. I used to be sorta scared of it and I hate the color green (except for DX in WWE ).

I've always referred to it as my most hated DC, although I haven't seen it in my dreams, I just used to alwaysthink of the car when I think nightmares.
