I had a problem while attempting WILD to do with breathing.
I have a hard time breathing through my nose when I'm fully awake, so it's hard during WILD. What can I do?

I know alot of people focuse on breathing techniques.. I usually try not to focuse to much on breathing, then Im concentrating on the wrong thing. Try to clear your mind and relax.. Whatever you do don't move alot in bed.. Actually if you're a back sleeper stay on your back the entire time if not still sleep on your back.. I mostly get my WILDS from sleeping on my back.. But just relax and think in your mind over and over.. Im going to be lucid in my dream.. Just repeat that over and over.. Good Luck
have you tried one of them anti-snore stickers?
I noticed some times its easier if you sleep on your side instead of on your back.
*cough*back to his question*cough*
why not just breath with your mouth open? i have allergies this time of year and that's what i have to do to get a good night's sleep... it doesn't affect much. except you get chapped lips. but that's a small sacrifice for the greater cause. :D
thats why the godly chap stik was invented :P
who here feels like theyre chest gets heavy when they concentrate on theyre breathing
I try to focus on imagining things when I try WILD. It takes your focus away from physical sensations...
I sometimes feel like I'm heavy when I do conscious breathing. You mean heavy in a good or bad way?Quote:

I expect myself to breathe more air than I actually could, so I think that made me feel heavier than usual. Pushing a lot, so to say. I'm just trying to get used to diaphragm, and it's totally different from what I usually do.
i mean in mostly a good way...but sometimes it interferes as its harder to stay comfortable when breathing becomes more hard...but usually its just a sensation......i might try focusing on my tongue or something tonightQuote:
