Hi everyone,
here's a few questions that came up...
- Last night I had my first WILD experience and I was really frightened by the intensity of it all and wanted to wake up which turned out to be really hard so that felt uncomfortable... so I need solid tips and techniques for waking up reliably, but could not find any. Searching did not work, because the search terms needed to be longer than 3 letters and I could not paraphrase it appropriately.
- Is it looked down upon posting in the task club for past tasks?
- Is the adoption program in this forum only for those who have not yet achieved a lucid dream? I am really interested to pursue this seriously and would like to say more about my goals over there when the two week period has passed. After all, I am very much a newb to the whole thing and would definitely benefit from some guidance. Or at least I think so...
thanks for reading...
P.S.: I posted some of these in the newbie section, but I think that section is mainly for introducing yourselves so I decided to carry those questions over here.... :|

during the wild, if you can't wake up, maybe you can just try falling asleep?

Waking up at will is easy - just think about it. I dont really know how to describe the process because it is really easy. As easy as flipping a switch in my mind or shifting awareness from the dream to the RL.
I'm trying to find words to describe this act but it's really hard because it is so fast. I can tell you what not to do: thinking " I want to wake up now" is not enough. I think "this is enough" and immidiately switch my attention to the real life.
I'm fairly sure you will also wake up if you will think of the same thing "this is enough" and attempt to switch your attention to the real life as you open your eyes. This should be a bit easier.
Waking up from WILD may indeed be hard. Even if you successfully fail to enter one WILD your body will initiate another one within a few minutes. This is referred to as "chain WILDing"
