It would seem my brain is desperate for me to NOT have the kind of LD I want - one that's long, vivid, populated and with plenty of control.
Case in point: Last night, I dreamt about what looked like a combination of two games I've been playing recently. Then... I raise my hands, and throw a nearby tank into a river.
I don't know how, but it was a cool feeling. Being able to levitate things.
But I DIDN'T GET LUCID! AARRGH!
I guess I can have lucidity, or control. But never both at the same time.

Oh I know the feeling! I've flown dozens of times and woken later only to realize I was never lucid! Very frustrating.

A night or two ago i had a dream where i was in halo (agian, AND I NEVER EVEN PLAYED IT!) and i was just walkin around, watching my back, as i looked up, and my whole picture my eyes saw shattered but it began to spin and I spun with it. It was a sweet feeling. I wasn't getting sucked in but in fact, getting spunn out (like clothes in a washer/dryer). It flung me somewhere where i knew i would go lucid but i just woke up. i was sad :(
i know it might not be related to this but, i just wanted to add.

I know exactly how you feel freshbrains. The other night I had a dream that I could levitate at will like a super power and I tavels with some other people that had super powers and the whole dream was about us being in a super market. The only thing I really remember is I lifted up a lawn chair and other stuff but never became lucid :(. Oh and that one guy at the pay out line thing started melting candy bars. I loved the feeling of being in control like that.

throwing tanks is probably a good method to get yourself distracted from being lucid.
