Controlling Lucid Dreams

Ok honestly, in my entire life, I only remember 2 lucid dreams. I know I have had more than that but I don't remember all of my dreams (like most people). Anyway I know this has been covered over and over but what I want to know is does anything you do during the day affect whether you can have a Lucid Dream? I'm almost never able to make myself dream ABOUT something (for instance going to sleep expecting to dream about blowing stuff up, eheheh), but I want to know if that's possible. For both normal dreaming and Lucid dreaming I guess-I would post in the normal dreaming section but this kinda covers both. Also, does anyone think it's wrong to have dreams about (let's just say) extreme sexual desire? I'm not a pervert or anything but you know how the whole hormone thing goes hehe. I would never hurt anyone in real life just for my own sake, though. Heck, I can't burn insects under a microscope if they're still alive, it's just kinda cruel for me.

1. Most people never remember having a lucid dream before.
2. The average person only remembers 2 dreams per week.

Reailty checks done during the day help in your dreams. A rc can be like a habit and when you do it in a dream you know your dreaming. And for makeing your self dream about things you might have to do alot of it during the day, and you still might not have a dream about. Sometimes I have dreams about people or places that I haven't thought about in years.
In a lucid dream feel free to do anything :D. You can even piss off the dream chacters (as long as you have good dream control).
