Does any gamer out there notice that if you play video games you get better or even lucid dreams? I'm a gamer myself and getting NASCAR 07 and an Xbox 360 next week. I believe I only had a handful of video game related dreams.

Hey, I have alot of dreams relating to splinter cell and halo 2. Not so much halo 2 since I stopped playing it.
Hey, I've had a couple Halo dreams lately actually. And I never played the Halo series!
I've played video games for 15 years or so and only had a couple of video game dreams....
Oddly enough, I had a very twisted dream involving Bowser last night. You know how on the NES games you're suppose to rescue the king? Well wait that's actually Mario Bros 3. Anyway, he threw the king in the lava...
Plus none of it looked animated, it was all very weird and I hadn't even played that game in awhile... weird.
My off-the-wall dream plots seem to be more closely related to movies, than games, though I've had many game dreams, before.
the closest thing i have had is a dream where the people from a game are in it. it happens a lot.

I've been playing this game Onimusha 2 and 3 for about 3 years now, and still haven't dreampt about it....
I used to be a real gamer. Played video games all day long. Now I still play them, but much less than before. I'd say more than half of my dreams is related to video games somehow. I'll have dreams where I see characters from a game. Dreams where I'm playing a game or even games where I'm in the game world. I also have dreams where I'm not within a particular video game. I can just be blowing up other people in a game-like environment, for example.
I play Final Fantasy XI (which is an online RPG), and dream about that particular game the most. I've had dreams where I saw monsters from the game kissing eachother. Dreams where my cat and I were running around the FFXI world and lots of other crazy things like that.
I never seem to become lucid when I'm having video game related dreams. I usually gain lucidity when something impossible happens in a relatively normal environment. Not when the world's gone completely nuts in every thinkable way, like in my video game dreams.
A little while back, in mid-July. I woke up early and played Paper Mario 2 on the Gamecube for about 1 hour, never accomplished a thing (i was tired) went back to bed and saw the paper mario coins that appear sometimes in the game and slipped right into the lucid dream. Very clear one too :|
I'm a big nintendo and sony gamer, and I do have a lot of lucid dreams invloving games. I don't know why, but I find video games have helped with LDing. usually I will be the main character of a game, and I control myself in the dream, probably because I am used to controlling that character in the game.
