http://www.lucidcrossroads.co.uk/description1.htm
after reading that would do yall think, is it an actual place in the dream world, or do you think after seeing this place on the website it gives your mind a schema so you travel there, and if it is just a schema and everyone has the same schema do u think you could meet people there
and oh yeah for anyone that already knows about the lucid crossroads you dont need to read all that
-
i think that once you read the description it gives you a very vivid picture of what the lucid crossroads would look like. since its the same when every person reads it, it makes it seem like its a real place.
if you were to actually see a person there, i think that person is a dream character, even though they may say they know they are dreaming. most likely they tell you they know their dreaming because thats what you expect to see when you go to the lucid crossroads. other people who are having lucid dreams.
if you see signatures in the guestbook, again it will all be made up via your mind. i bet you could do i reality check with the signatures. they would probably change.
i don't know though, i've never personally been to the lucid crossroads. i've loved to be proved wrong :content:

yeah i might try walking through a mirror i saw in some other post to get there, get two goals accomplished in one, if i can remember to that is

If they have the key to helping one stay lucid foreal. Its worth a try, then say k thx bye. Then I can then go about my own business lol.

The theme of the crossroads exists in most cultures, in different forms. I always think of Robert Johnson selling his soul at the crossroads so he could play guitar better than anyone else. The crossroads is where we meet our fate; it is a place where anything can happen. I would love to come to a crossroads in one of my lucid dreams, but I doubt it would look like that site's images unless I thought about it much. If we have a much broader understanding of the idea of a crossroads, those images should not affect us much. I hope my crossroads would look like a Mississippi dirt crossroad!

I would love to be able to interact with other people who were lucid dreaming. That would be the absolute coolest. BUT I really don't think it's possible.
-
It's an experiment. They want to see if they can create vivid images so that people may dream of the same place at the same time and have a shared dream. Whatever.

well damn if its an experiment im game

ya. it sounds really cool. lucid crossroads are defenately on the top of my personal check list of things to do while lucid. even though i don't think the shared dream stuff is possible outside a really close area.
