The next day at school I saw the girl and told her I had had a dream about her. Thats called a shared dream. While its impossible to be sure exactly what causes it, many believe you actually meet the person in the dream world or astral plane.

Yeah you could have had a shared dream with her, where your dreams some how connect with Astral Projection or some thing. I'm not really sure if this can happen or not, you should ask her more about the dream and compare them both.

Then again it could just be coincidence.

I don't really believe in "shared dreaming" or the "dream world". Did you meet this girl before? Did something trampoline-related happen? Are you sure that when you met the girl at school you weren't dreaming?

I've read of things like this happening, its pretty amazing. Hard to believe. but the human mind is capable of soo much, maby astral-projections are real. Hell, maby telepathic mind reading is also real.

Shared dreams are possible. There is no occult or mystic things about them. The brain sends signals the same way a radio station does and it is possible to pick them up. You just have to be really focused and usually you have to be aware of what is going to happen (to be able to separate the signal from all the others going through you at the same time).

Say you know your girlfriend is going to call you around 12AM. You dont physically think about it, but the mind knows the call is approaching. She takes her phone up and calls you. Now, when she thinks about you, she sends the signal to you and your brain is able to pick it up because you know the call is coming (you are tuned in on the station ). And the "weird" thing happens when you think about her (because of the signal), and suddently the phone calls.

Dreams can happen in the same way, so do telepathy. I wont discuss that now though.

Always be critic though. She could have lied to you about the dream .
