that would be so awesome.
That would be awesome, if you can have a couple of hour dream in 30mins imagine a whole week long of a lucid. After that life would be boring as hell, you would want to induce a coma
Haha. Suppose you are in a long coma and have a very long lucid dream, but since you haven't practiced improving your dream recall at all, when you wake up, you remember nothing.
Or worse: you remember you have a very long lucid dream, but you can't remember any details or anything about it.
Considering that you basically just unconscious for an extended period of time when your in a coma, then why not? Its defiantly possible. I wouldn't necessarily say that it would be very long every time though. It would all depend on how vivid the dream was. You could just remember fragments of the dream when you wake up.
I wouldnt like it... I would miss my loved ones and friends to much. Especially since its Lucid, and you would know that you were dreaming... and if it was a continuous LD then it would get really depressing after a while... b/c if you were not LDing then atleast you would think it was real... and you would have forgotten about your family and friends.
Although, it would be an interesting experience.
I would be God in my coma dream. While createing a world ect...until my Coma is over lol. Maybe if it lasted like 33 years. I would start to think i'm really God...and have a real heaven and all. >_>
This made me think of the film Flatliners, ever seen it?
Yeah I seem to remember some of it, basically a bunch of medicine students stop their hearts and then revive themselves to have near death experiences (Julia Roberts is in it) and then the first guy to do it has a near death experience, then they all start doing it (this group of 4 or 5) and they start going for longer and longer, and then bad stuff happens but I can't remember what really.
Remind me?
I don't want to spoil it! Check it out, its a good film imo. Yeah these medical students make themselves flatline and then resuscitate each other to find out what happens when they die. Kind of similar to being in a coma and they sort of have lucid dreams when they're dead, well they walk around consciously. Kiefer Sutherland from 24/Young Guns is also in it. The underlined title in my previous post is a link to a page on it.
That would be scary as hell at first to me.
I would think that I would have died or something if my LD just went on and on and on and on...
After that though, it would be really nice!
Getting into coma, just to lucid-dream, is rather desperate, but I see your point. A 1 week long lucid-dream would be awesome. However, there's one problem. You're in coma, because your conscious brain is out of order, so how should it be possible to become lucid :-P?
I thought about that too, actually. xD Might be fun (ha-ha).
People lie :D
That would be too close to Heaven
