Yes. I believe that a lot of the spiritual experiences that have occurred to holy men over the past thousands of men were really lucid dreams.
It does...the first known to use it were Bhuddest monks.
Maybe
Hah, I listen like a stick sometimes. But I dont know enough about LD'ing to have a set opinion on this. I havnt researched the orgins and all that stuff yet, if I ever will (re: no motivation). So..right.
It definitely does. Simply not everyone will reach it.
In order to make a choice, I would first like you to define what "spritual" means in the context of this poll.
~LucidOne
yeah. 'spiritual' means different things to different people.
spiritual as in another realm?
spiritual as in mind expanding?
Spiritual has a very personal connotation, but in my books it is...
I think it makes me grow as a person and is a great tool for self-discovery...It makes me get in touch with myself...
lucid dreaming is just your own mind, nothing more...y'know, other than that whole spiritual/astral thing going on...but if you ignore all that neat-o spiritual stuff, lucid dreaming is just your own mind ;p
It depends on what you are trying to reach, for me it definetly does, both the spiritual and the occult :)
No I believe it does not - at least not necessarily.
One can do things like praying in an LD however, and what happens is fascinating.
Spiritual is not a equivalent to religious...
Yeah I think it does. Discovering what it can do is one of my goals. :D
It might take me a while, but I'm very determined. :P
I think it is somthing that is more nature oriented. No more than using logic or reason. it just has not been refined yet.
spirtual is very broad term as far as humans go.
yes! I believe it does... for one person it may be more so than another. To us it is more than a non-Lucid dreamer! Anyway...
I said no. Why? Lucid Dreaming is great thing made by your mind. Like all areas of society, you can implement it towards spiritualism, but the basic definition of lucid dreaming should be completely detatched fom all spiritualist biases.
Very well worded. I think this is exactly true.Quote:

My dream world is not a place that I enter into with my body nor my awakened consciousness therefore I would have to say yes...spiritual.
How about:Quote:

the basic definition of lucid dreaming should be completely detached from all psychological biases.
Any sort of bias is still opinion, not fact.
Just because an explanation parades under the banner of "science" does not mean it is more credible or valid.
I said yes. One cannot separate the spiritual from the physical or the spiritual from the "scientific."
