      Last night I had some interesting non-lucid dreams in which I was in various Salvador Dali paintings. My memory is a little hazy but I do remember that the dreams were very strange/cool. I thought that it would be interesting to try and enter a "Daliesque" world while in a lucid dream. It would probably make for a very unusual experience that one could appreciate more while in the lucid state. Anyways just throwing that idea out there for anyone who is interested. If anyone tries this or has had a similar experience please post what happened.

      That is so cool. I've had similar dreams, although no specific ones come to mind as of now. I'm pretty sure some of Dali's stuff was based off of his dreams (lucid and non). That's why it looks so disconnected and disporportionate. It's beautiful.

      ya, Dali did a lot of stuff that was based on his dreams. He said "I don't do drugs, I am drugs"

      Huge Dali fan here!

      i actually have "Sleep" framed by my bed, and its what i fall asleep to. im kinda new to the LDing world, but i have had a few. i have had an LD a Dali painting, but it was in his Saint Anthony. (one with the elephants, and everything has long, spindly legs) I myself am 6'5, so it was interesting... what experiences have you guys had?

      Temptation of Saint Anthony is a cool one. My non-lucid dream involved "Dream caused by the flight of a bee around a pomegranate one second before waking".

      A lot more pleasant than a Francis Bacon painting. Hahaha, I'll have to try this. Elephants, giraffes and burning trees a-go-go!


      Oh, and Dali most definitely WAS drugs.
