Hi, I have had somewhat of a dry spell in the past months, but I finally achieved lucidity last night, I realized I was directing my dream all in a haze. I knew I was dreaming, but there was no clarity. I was walking, after a reality check during a false awakening. I decided to fly out my window, but the scene was not as vivid as it had been in the past.
Has this ever happened to anyone? I don't know whether it is due to poor memory recall, or simply a lack of realism on my part.
If anyone knows what my problem is, all advice would be appreciated. If not, its back to lurking, as I always do, for similar problems... Lucid Dreaming is HARD!!!

Hmm, it sounds like a recall problem to me. usually lucid dreams are very clear. You just need to remember more details... Practice yoru recall techniques :)

I have had this problem. In one of my early LD's, I remembered to yell "Increase clarity!" I yelled it really loud and it actually worked; everything got a lot brighter. Other times it has not worked, but it might be something you can try.
A lot of my dreams seem to be dark and sometimes hazy. I was trapped in a dark room once, and I finally got out by diving thru a window and flying, but something was wrong--all the cars were same except for being different bright colors. Then my foot hit a powerline or something and I got tangled up and couldn't fly anymore.
Anyway, I would try yelling something like "More light!" or "Increase clarity!" or something like that.

Alright, that seems like good advice. I'll try telling myself to increase lucidity next time I realize I am dreaming.
But, I suppose my true problem is a lack of recall, so I must work on that.
Thank you.
