Tasting?

I have never tried but can you taste or smell in your dreams i thought i tasted something in my dream but i think my mouth was just dry.

yep. ive tasted a couple times dream flamin hot cheetos taste just like the real thing :content: smell is alot rarer though ive only smelt somthing once in my dream. and it was burnt hair :P it was gross lol

In a non-lucid, I saw some Xmas wreaths and got an extremely intense, but pleasant, smell of pine. There was nothing that could have caused this in my room. On the other hand, my scent-induced lucid dream theory, whereby I sleep with a stuffed animal sprayed with perfume, is not working so well.

I tasted something sweet, but not very sweet one night. I didn't eat anything, just smelt it and felt good. Next morning I found a candle that smelt like my dreamt taste. I had to get it. It's my favorite candle, smells wonderful.

I tasted beer. It tasted so good in the dream, like God brewed it or something.

Also I've eaten food before and I remember tasting it.
