I think we should work on a written version of an AILD and a WrILD. If no one else is going to then maybe I will take it upon myself to do it. If WrILD only works when you are talking with someone else, maybe we can build an AIM(AOL INSTANT MESSANGER) Response Bot~!

I think there is something to the WrILDs. I have noticed a few times that I dream about things I talked about with some of my friends online...

the point is that everyone learns differently and we should find out what works for us personally, in a positive manner, but testing the main 4 ways of learning. Maybe it would make it easier for an auditory person to lucid from AILDs and a Visual person to do VILDs or WILDs? Make Sense? It's pretty logical

That is a good point Ezekiel.
I see most of the time, members often guide new members. They tell them to try different techniques, as each one works better for different people. And I think what you pointed out is the reason.
If we point this out in the beginning stage of a learning processes, it could eliminate techniques that may not work as efficiently for a specific individual.

I would most definitely be visual.

What about interactive? lol

i.e. a video played (similar to iMax) meant to induce dream like thoughts and feelings. (brainwave sounds + visual stimuli = efficient IMO)

Some kind of device could be made for Lucid sleep, albeit. A comfy helmet, with optional: audio/video ... Plus I'm sure there could be other innovations involved.

Why doesn't dreamview as a whole attempt to achieve the creation of a product meant to broaden the LD experience to all new horizons.

With the world in the state it's in, new idea's etc. are EASILY marketable, especially the way today's consumer's are.

Good idea. I usually don't get "Visual, auditory, read/write/ kinesthetic" - my best approach is "being told what to do" or even better "being told the answers", but, I guess with dreaming, such a technique is woefully inadequate.

There'd still be one important shared step though: keep a dream journal. And that's the one thing I'm not doing right now.

i am audio/visual, i can learn almost anything by seeing or hearing it. sometimes it only takes me one try to learn something. after that, i remember it easily. that might explain why i am so good with hi, i tend to see it wether i try or not.

My LD's just happen I will be in a normal dream, realize I am dreaming and bamb everything becomes vivid and seemingly real. Then I start to have fun in the dream world and it will slowly fade away.

So I guess you can say the majority of mine are dream/naturally induced.

I have done WrILD before. But it doesn't always work. What I did was mostly write down a suggestion over and over and over again before going to sleep. I'm not sure if its worked for anyone else here though? I know some people have done a verbal suggestion and that works just fine for them, but not for many..oh well

Basically the WrILD is a technique to embed the thoughts of dreaming deeper into your mind. More auditory people are usually successful with speaking a mantra. " I will have a lucid dream tonight. I will have a lucid dream tonight." A WrILD would mimic this except it would be written. The basis is the fact that I've had dreams based on conversations that i've had during the day online. Supposedly this could plant information into our subliminal minds. Thus causing a WrID (Writing Induced Dream)

So you write a montra down during the day with the hopes that it is implanted in your subconcious giving you a Lucid Dream?

basically. The hopes is that the mantra that is written out will translate better then a mantra that is said or recited. Just because it is on the visual, auditory, kinesthetic level. It's all three things combined. Then you may remember what you were typing when you dream, or what you were thinking about, or what you were looking at while writing it down. Just kind of overkill senses recall

If You want to implant something into Your subconscious You may want to look at hypnosis too. HILD :D

thats whats kinda annoying how different pple have tecniques which works for them , imagine if you couldnt find any techniques that does not work for you , or it takes a extremely long time to figure it out , i hope it doesnt happen to me
