do all people or most people hear sounds when trying to wild?

I can only speak for myself, but no, I almost never hear sounds when I WILD.

Yes. Ive only WILDed twice but Ive heard everything from music to metal scratching to creepy whispering to random people talking indistinguishably. Its weird but kinda fun.

yep. sometimes beeping noises. other times it just sounds like wind.

the time i got close, i did hear a weird beeping noise. it was almost as if it keep getting closer/louder every time i heard it.

I never hear anything when I WILD.
It's just me watching my HI and then me either waking into the dream completely lucid or watching the scene form around me. My transition to dreams is totally uneventful compared to some of the experiences others have.

I've yet to hear the freakier sounds some people have described here. But my HI's get very though and a lot of times they are noisy - the characters in my HI talk more than my dream characters!

Only once did I hear noises that did not feel like they come from an HI. At that time I was not trying to WILD, instead I had a strange Sleep Parlysis where I tried to fall asleep - in some weird way mimicking a WILD. At that time I heard hacking and coughing in my ear, as if the 'hag' himself was next to me. *It was a male hacking and coughing - I sleep alone!*

Seems like more people see the HI than hear the sounds. Kinda fascinating really. I wonder what causes someone to see or hear the most?

I wasn't trying to wild - just sleep normally. I did a few relaxation techniques, and just when I was going off to sleep I swear I heard somebody whisper my name in my ear, then it sounded like someone dropping something onto wood.

It freaked me out :P

When I go into SP I hear a noise that sounds like nothing but its a noise. The best thing I can compare it to is like I am standing next to something that is high voltage you know, the sound of a high amount of electricity passing threw something.

other than that I hear nothing.
